Questions people actually ask.

Is Omni News free?
Yes. The core app is free - full feed, trust scores, bias filter, and 3 audio plays per day. Omni News Pro ($4.99/month) unlocks unlimited audio, premium voices, the Morning Brief daily digest, AI trust explanations, and AI perspective synthesis. 7-day free trial.
What does it cover?
Two sides, one feed. Outlets: 82+ English-language news sources including BBC, AP, Reuters, NPR, CBS, Fox News, The Guardian, The Economist, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, The Independent, PBS NewsHour, DW News, and more. Voices: 50 curated accounts on X across the political spectrum - journalists, analysts, officials, and outlet handles - each one individually bias-labeled. Switch between All, Social, and Traditional with one tap.
How does the bias rating work?
Each source has a default rating (Left, Left-Center, Center, Right-Center, Right) based on published media bias research. You can override any rating yourself from the Explore tab.
Is my data private?
Yes. No account required. All AI features run on-device using Apple's Foundation Models framework - your prompts and reading habits never leave your iPhone. No third-party ad networks, no tracking SDKs.
What does the trust score measure?
Trust scores combine source reputation, how many other outlets confirm the story, headline language, and transparency signals. Higher is more reliable. Low scores are flagged with specific reasons you can tap to see.
Does it work without internet?
Saved articles and downloaded audio work offline. Fresh news requires a connection.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Omni News is currently iPhone-only, taking advantage of iOS 26's on-device AI capabilities. Android is under consideration.
