1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Omni News ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Omni News is a news aggregation application that fetches publicly available RSS feeds from third-party news sources and displays them with algorithmically generated trust scores. The App does not create, publish, or endorse any news content.

3. News Content

All news articles, headlines, and summaries displayed in the App are sourced from third-party news publishers via their public RSS feeds.
We do not author, edit, verify, or endorse any news content displayed in the App.
The App provides links to original articles on the publishers' websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those external sites.

4. Trust Scores

Trust scores are generated algorithmically based on factors including the number of sources covering a story, source transparency, and other metadata.
Trust scores are informational only and do not constitute a factual determination about the truthfulness or accuracy of any article.
You should not rely solely on trust scores when evaluating news. Always read the full article and consult multiple sources.

5. Bias Ratings

Political bias ratings assigned to news sources are based on our own internal evaluation. These categorizations are subjective, may change at any time, and do not represent any definitive or official classification.
Bias ratings are provided for informational and personalization purposes only. They do not constitute a factual claim about any news source's editorial position.
Users may customize bias ratings within the App for their own use. The developer makes no representation that any default or user-assigned rating is accurate.
No news source, publisher, or organization has endorsed, approved, or been consulted regarding their categorization within the App.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Trust scores or bias ratings will be accurate, complete, or current.
Any specific news sources or articles will be available.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Omni News shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Omni News from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

9. Subscriptions

Omni News Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device Settings under your Apple ID.

10. Intellectual Property

The Omni News app, including its design, code, trust scoring algorithms, and branding, is the intellectual property of the developer. News content displayed belongs to the respective publishers.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the App.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
